VisioLab’s product processes real-time transactions in the most demanding environments imaginable. Our infrastructure needs to be fast, resilient, and effortlessly scalable. We’re looking for a DevOps/Backend Engineer who can own the reliability and performance of our platform - and build the systems that let the rest of the team ship with confidence.
Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure (GCP) for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let engineers ship fast and safely
Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows
Develop backend services that handle high-throughput, real-time transaction processing
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize deployment, testing, and release processes
Drive infrastructure-as-code practices and improve developer experience
4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or backend engineering
Strong experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, and containerized environments
Proficiency in Node.js
Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and monitoring stacks
A reliability mindset: you think about failure modes, edge cases, and graceful degradation
Comfort working in a fast-moving startup where you’ll build, not just maintain
Fluent in English; German is a plus
