Join the Pinnacle of Satellite Technology Advancement in Germany!

Reflex Aerospace is at the forefront of propelling high-performance satellite technology to new heights within the German aerospace landscape.
As part of Reflex Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the space industry's future. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise and enthusiasm to a team that stands for innovation and excellence. If you are ready to take on exciting challenges and be part of a company that is redefining the boundaries of satellite technology, we welcome you to embark on this thrilling journey with us!

Join the Systems Integration and Verification (SIV) team to design and develop the hardware infrastructure, such as interface boards, checkout boards and EGSE, that enables activities from board-level bring-up through to verification against satellite flight hardware.

You will work closely with the hardware teams and the entire SIV team to align infrastructure development with system-level verification needs, helping bridge the gap between equipment-level and system-level verification.

Please submit your CV in English, as not everyone on the hiring team is fluent in German.

Your Mission:

  • Collaborate with SIV team to define hardware infrastructure for satellite-level test and verification activities, including scalable interface boards for checkout campaigns.
  • Develop multiplexing concepts for the flatsat, enabling equipment to be connected flexibly to multiple endpoints for various communication protocols.
  • Work with hardware and SIV teams to identify equipment-level integration and checkout needs, then design and implement interface and checkout boards that help scale production, integration and test workflows.
  • Design and implement electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) concepts for various satellite missions.
  • Support bring-up of equipment and hardware systems using the infrastructure you have developed.
  • Support integration and validation activities on our Flatsat and Engineering Models.
  • Support harness definition for flatsat and satellite EGSE setups.

Your Background:

Must-have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • You have several years of hands-on experience as a Hardware Engineer or in a similar position.
  • Experience using Altium, Eagle or another PCB design tool.
  • Experience with the hardware development lifecycle, from early requirements definition to design, procurement, assembly and board bring-up.
  • Hands-on familiarity with lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Ability to bring up and troubleshoot hardware independently.
  • Experience developing and executing Python scripts for test, automation and hardware support tasks.

Nice-to-have
  • Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux environments and using the command line as part of your daily workflow.
  • Experience with Git, Gitlab and CI/CD systems.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry, ideally with direct exposure to hardware.
  • Experience with Mechanical 3D design tools.
