Join the Pinnacle of Satellite Technology Advancement in Germany!

Reflex Aerospace is at the forefront of propelling high-performance satellite technology to new heights within the German aerospace landscape.

As part of Reflex Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of the space industry's future. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise and enthusiasm to a team that stands for innovation and excellence. If you are ready to take on exciting challenges and be part of a company that is redefining the boundaries of satellite technology, we welcome you to embark on this thrilling journey with us!
Your Mission:
  • Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and housings for spacecraft subsystems and internal equipment (e.g. electronic boxes, brackets, mounts).
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and production-ready drawings using CAD software (mainly Siemens NX).
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and repeatable production.
  • Define and apply GD&T in accordance with applicable standards to ensure proper fit, function, and interchangeability.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and design review material.
  • Support hardware manufacturing, assembly, and integration activities, including troubleshooting and design iterations.
  • Collaborate with electrical, systems, thermal, and AIT engineers to ensure mechanical designs meet subsystem and system-level requirements.
  • Interface with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible, clear, and compliant with requirements.
  • Consider space-relevant constraints such as launch loads, thermal environments, cleanliness, and mass optimization in your designs.
Your Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) or an equivalent qualification.
  • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in aerospace, space, or high-reliability industries.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawing creation; Siemens NX experience is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T and its practical application in manufacturing and inspection
  • Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, turning, sheet metal, and basic assembly techniques.
  • Strong focus on design for manufacturing, assembly, and integration.
  • Interest or initial experience in space hardware design (e.g. electronic enclosures, flight hardware constraints) is an advantage.
  • Comfortable producing clear technical documentation and communicating in English, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
What We Offer:
