ABOUT THE JOB
Founded in 2020, mbiomics GmbH aims to revolutionize the treatment of diseases through innovative microbiome-based therapeutics. Our holistic TechBio platform combines proprietary analytics and cutting-edge data science to push the boundaries of live bacterial product (LBP) development.
Mbiomics is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic Operations Team as a (Senior) Project Manager. In this role you will support the development and rollout of project management frameworks, standards, and tools across the organization. Support operational (non-scientific) functions in OKR and KPI tracking, and drive adoption of consistent PM practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design and document project management standards, templates, and governance processes
- Develop and maintain PM playbooks, methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid), and best practices
- Support implementation and rollout out of company wide project management frameworks
- Configure and administer project management tools (e.g., Confluence, Asana, Jirra)
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of frameworks based on feedback
- Maintain performance dashboards and tracking systems
- Identify resistance points and help develop strategies to drive adoption
- Gather feedback and iterate on frameworks to improve usability and fit
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- 3+ years of project management experience with a focus on process design or PMO functions
- Experience developing and implementing PM frameworks, standards, or governance structures
- Familiarity with OKR methodology and performance management systems
- Strong facilitation and training skills; able to coach non-PM professionals
- Excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management and productivity tools (e.g., Asana, Notion, Excel, Confluence)
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset with a passion for new technologies
- Fluent English language skills required, German language skills a plus.
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.)
- Experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences environment
- Background in change management or organizational development
