🎯 How you will make an impact:
We are a growing drone scale-up and are looking for a Founding DevOps Engineer to build our DevOps function from the ground up. You will design processes, set up infrastructure, and ensure secure deployments of our robotics systems – all in challenging edge environments without permanent cloud connectivity.
• Establish our DevOps roadmap and best practices
• Design and manage deployment strategies for customer environments (including offline setups)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development tooling
• Set up Software- and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing
• Ensure security and compliance in deployments
• Take full ownership of DevOps topics across the company
✅ What you need to be successful:
• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer (preferably in a startup/scale-up)
• Strong background in edge deployments, ideally with some robotics or hardware experience
• Expertise with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and container technologies (Docker, OCI)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
• Familiarity with ROS2 or other robotics middleware is a plus
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
