🎯 How you will make an impact:

As a Field Operations Support Specialist, you will be a critical bridge between our customers in the field and our internal product and engineering teams. You will deploy directly alongside military personnel for product trials, demonstrations, and testing, gathering critical real-time feedback and ensuring customer needs and operational insights are clearly communicated internally to drive continuous product improvement.

  • Deploy with military customers to various field locations, potentially including challenging and hazardous environments, to support product trials and testing.
  • Build trust and credibility with military personnel, leveraging your background to understand operational requirements and constraints intimately.
  • Provide real-time technical and operational support during deployments, ensuring effective use of the product in field conditions.
  • Collect, document, and communicate detailed feedback and operational insights from customers directly to product and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to translate field observations and feedback into actionable product improvements.
  • Conduct post-deployment debriefs and assessments, clearly articulating successes, challenges, and recommendations.

What you need to be successful:

  • Military veteran with direct operational deployment experience.
  • Technical aptitude, ideally with experience or familiarity in areas such as communications systems, sensors, software, unmanned systems, or other defence technology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with military customers and technical teams alike.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail, with a structured approach to documenting field observations and user feedback.
  • Comfort and willingness to deploy regularly to field locations, including international and potentially high-risk areas.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic and uncertain environments.
  • Hands-on experience working with military-focused technology products or in military technical roles.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable feedback.
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing technical support role.

    You must be willing and able to travel extensively and operate effectively in austere environments.
