We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful execution and delivery of our groundbreaking counter-drone projects. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and resources, and ensure that our cutting-edge solutions reach our customers on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
🎯 How you will make an impact:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical programme initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements.
- Oversee the scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for complex aerospace and defence programmes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Drive effective communication across engineering, product, operations, and business development teams, ensuring coordination and collaboration toward common goals.
- Implement rigorous programme management processes and utilize advanced tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar) to track progress, performance metrics, and milestones.
- Regularly report programme status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership, stakeholders, and partners, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
✅ What you need to be successful:
- A relevant degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in programme or project management, specifically within aerospace, defence, or technology-driven environments.
- Demonstrable track record managing complex projects, from initiation through successful completion, including budget and resource management.
- Familiarity with defence industry regulations, aerospace product development cycles, and associated compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Jira, MS Project).
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration in high-stakes environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling timely resolution of programme challenges and effective risk management.
- Fluent English required; German language skills advantageous.
- Military experience or familiarity with drone and counter-drone technologies is highly beneficial.
- Availability for business travel to our offices in Karlsruhe/Germany and London/UK.
