Descriptif du poste

The Project Procurement Officer (PPO) is responsible for managing procurement activities across ZE Energy’s utility-scale renewable energy projects in France, Italy, and Germany, including both standalone BESS and hybrid (PV+BESS) projects.

The role covers the full procurement lifecycle for EPC contracts, Balance of Plant (BOP), and key technical and advisory services (e.g., Owner’s Engineer, HSE agent …). The PPO ensures that sourcing strategies are competitive, bankable, and aligned with project timelines and financing requirements.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager (Paris HQ), the PPO works closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Engineering, Finance, Operations) and local project teams in country, as well as with external suppliers across Europe.

Key responsibilities :

  • Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence : Conduct supplier market screening across key categories (EPC - PV & BESS, BOP contractors, O&M providers, and technical advisors), Build and maintain a qualified supplier database across France, Italy, and Germany, Gather and update market intelligence (pricing benchmarks, contractual practices, technical trends).

  • Supplier Prequalification : Lead supplier prequalification processes (technical and financial due diligence, documentation review and scoring, site visits and supplier audits), Coordinate internal validation with technical and project teams.

  • Tendering & Procurement Execution : Prepare and launch RFIs/RFQs in line with project procurement strategies, Manage end-to-end tender processes (bid preparation and documentation, supplier clarification rounds, bid evaluation and comparison -technical, commercial, contractual).

  • Negotiation & Contracting : Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers, Ensure alignment with ZE Energy’s standards and bankability requirements, Support contract finalization through to signature.

  • Project & Stakeholder Coordination : Act as procurement lead within project teams, Participate in project meetings and procurement reviews, Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between procurement, technical design, and project execution.


Profil recherché

  • Education & Experience

- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Procurement, or related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement within utility-scale energy or renewable projects

- Proven experience in at least one of the following markets: France, Italy, Germany

- Demonstrated experience managing EPC and/or BOP procurement processes

- Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management

- Fluent in English (written and spoken), German or Italian is a plus

- Negotiation and commercial acumen

- Ability to manage multi-country procurement processes

- Understanding of project environments (CAPEX projects, infrastructure, energy)

- Analytical mindset with ability to assess supplier performance and market data

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including contract drafting

- Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced, and growing organization

- High level of integrity and commitment to transparent procurement practices

Additional Information : Position based in Paris (HQ) with frequent travel across Europe (France, Italy, Germany).
