We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer who enjoys building practical solutions, automating workflows, and shipping products from idea to production.
Your Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
- Integrate APIs, databases, webhooks, and third-party platforms
- Develop internal tools and improve existing operational processes
- Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to accelerate deployment
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept through implementation, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot automation failures and improve system reliability
- Collaborate closely with product, operations, and engineering teams
Your Profile - You are currently enrolled at a university and have at least three semesters remaining
- You are available for 20 hours per week and can work from our Berlin office
- Practical experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms is mandatory
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, databases, and version control
- Familiarity with GitHub and modern development workflows
- Experience with agentic or AI-assisted coding tools
- You have built and shipped at least one project or product end-to-end
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership
- Good English communication skills
