Working hours: 20 hours per week

Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer who enjoys building practical solutions, automating workflows, and shipping products from idea to production.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
  • Integrate APIs, databases, webhooks, and third-party platforms
  • Develop internal tools and improve existing operational processes
  • Use AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to accelerate deployment
  • Take ownership of projects from initial concept through implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Troubleshoot automation failures and improve system reliability
  • Collaborate closely with product, operations, and engineering teams
Your Profile
  • You are currently enrolled at a university and have at least three semesters remaining
  • You are available for 20 hours per week and can work from our Berlin office
  • Practical experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, databases, and version control
  • Familiarity with GitHub and modern development workflows
  • Experience with agentic or AI-assisted coding tools
  • You have built and shipped at least one project or product end-to-end
  • Proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership
  • Good English communication skills
