Our systems already handle thousands of tenant interactions, and we are now expanding our engineering team to build the next generation of AI-powered rental infrastructure.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Working Student: Software Developer to join our team in Berlin. You will work directly with our engineering and product teams on real-world systems, contributing to backend services, AI workflows, and user-facing applications.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, your work will directly impact how rental operations scale through automation.

What You’ll Work On

  • Building and improving backend services (Node.js / Python)
  • Supporting development of AI-driven workflows and integrations
  • Working on APIs, data processing, and system integrations
  • Contributing to frontend components (Angular / React, depending on project)
  • Collaborating on product features from idea to deployment
  • Debugging, testing, and optimizing system performance

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university in Berlin (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
  • Prior experience in software development (internships, projects, or work experience)
  • Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and/or Python
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and web architecture
  • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Node.js, Express, or FastAPI
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools, APIs, or automation workflows
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (Angular or React)
