As a member of our CMC Process Development team, you will support and shape the development of innovative biopharmaceuticals and be responsible for contributing to the optimization, development, and execution of bioconjugation techniques and related processes. You will use a variety of preparation, purification, and characterization techniques relevant for the area of Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and protein drug conjugates. You will work in a highly interdisciplinary environment with the opportunity to learn and adopt new techniques.

Deine Aufgaben

Development and execution of bioconjugation studies with novel Antibody Drug Conjugates (feasibility, proof-of-concept, optimization, verification, lab scale-up)
Contribute to testing and bioanalytical characterization of the obtained conjugation products, enzymes and proteins
Conduct literature research and prepare conjugation, purification, and analysis plans
Maintaining clear and current documentation of the obtained results, writing SOPs and reports
Safe handling of HPAPI
Present written and oral reports to multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to the preparation and review of manufacturing and development documentation, such as batch records and reports
Contribute to DSP of various biomolecules, including enzymes, and proteins

Ihr Profil

You are highly motivated and independent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You feel comfortable effectively working in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team atmosphere
You have either a PhD in biotechnology, chemistry or biochemistry plus 3 years working experience, or Masters’ degree plus 5 years working experience in a pharmaceutical company.
Relevant practical work experience in protein purification (affinity purification, ion-exchange or, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, TFF etc.).
Experience in DoE studies is a plus
Basic understanding of the quality principles that drive drug development, such as GMP
Hands-on experience with protein analytics (HPLC, gel techniques, stability assessment, ELISA-assays, LC-MS etc.) is a benefit
Good proficiency in spoken and written English
Experience with Antibody Drug Conjugates or protein conjugates is a plus
