Your mission
As People & Payroll Manager, you will own the processes that shape the employee experience, support your colleagues with clarity and care, and continuously enhance HR operations through structured workflows and smart use of our HR software. You will also take charge of payroll and personnel administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for everyone across the Sdui Group.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and review payroll-relevant data for monthly payroll accounting
- Maintain HR master data and manage digital personnel files, including deadline tracking
- Create and process HR documents such as employment contracts, amendments, and certificates
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll, tax, and social security matters
- Handle certificate and reporting requirements, liaising with external institutions such as employment agencies, health insurance providers, and authorities
- Manage and further develop HR software (Personio) and support the optimization of group-wide HR processes
What you’ll bring
- A reliable, detail-oriented working style and full confidentiality when handling sensitive data
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset when supporting employees
- Solid experience in German payroll, including relevant legal frameworks (tax, social security, maternity/parental leave, continued pay)
- Confidence in working with payroll and HR systems (e.g., DATEV LODAS); experience with Personio is a plus
- Very good German and English language skills
Where you’ll be
You live in Koblenz or the surrounding area and will come into the office twice a week. The rest of the time, flexible remote work is possible, giving you the freedom to balance focus time and team collaboration. This position can be full-time or part-time (32–40 hours per week).
