YOUR IMPACT
You will be the key operational link for our specialized R&D activities in Switzerland. By managing site-specific purchasing and cross-border logistics, you ensure that our scientists in Villigen have seamless access to critical equipment, regardless of where it comes from.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Site Purchasing: Manage the end-to-end purchasing of technical equipment, lab supplies, and site services , specifically for our Villigen facilities.
Import & Logistics: Coordinate international shipments into Switzerland, ensuring correct customs handling, harmonized system (HS) coding, and Incoterm compliance (DDP vs. DAP).
Order Management: Track orders from issuance to final delivery at the site, proactively managing lead times for critical research components.
Internal Coordination: Work directly with the onsite technical team to translate scientific requirements into commercial orders.

Process Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal policies and Swiss regulatory requirements.
WHO YOU ARE
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or export/import logistics.
Customs Knowledge: Familiarity with Swiss customs procedures and import regulations is highly desirable.
Autonomy: Ability to work independently in a satellite location while maintaining alignment with HQ processes.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or commercial diploma (Kaufmann/-frau) with a focus on purchasing or logistics.
Background: Experience in a research institute (e.g., PSI environment) or engineering company is a plus.
