Noscendo GmbH, a Duisburg (Germany) based molecular diagnostics company, changes the way infection causative microbes are identified. Introducing a paradigm shift using proprietary algorithms and software harnessing next generation sequencing of cell free nucleic acids isolated from patient samples, Noscendo brings the concept of liquid biopsy into the field of infectious diseases. The seed investor High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) finances tech start-ups with growth potential and has supported more than 700 start-ups since 2005. With the launch of its fourth fund, HTGF now has about 1.4 billion euros under management.
