Role Overview
As a Business Developer for the DACH region, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities with a strong emphasis on Pentonext and related polyol solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, establish strategic partnerships, and ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities
· Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH region, focusing on Pentonext offerings.
· Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
· Sales Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the DACH market.
· Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
· Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and technical teams to align strategies and deliver value to clients.
· Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the DACH region.
· Conferences: Represent Mevaldi at industry conferences
Qualifications
· Proven experience in business development or sales within the DACH region, specifically in diols for polyester polyols, coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers or resins.
· Proven experience working with Hubspot as CRM tooling.
· Strong understanding of B2B technology solutions; experience with 3-methyl-1,5,-pentanediol or similar platforms is a plus.
· Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Willingness to travel within the DACH region as required.
