We’re seeking a pragmatic
Head of Data to build the data foundations behind one of Europe’s fastest-growing legal tech companies.
JUPUS already supports hundreds of law firms across Europe. As we scale, reliable product and customer data has become critical to how we run the business:f rom product analytics to business metrics.
Today, parts of our data infrastructure have grown organically across tools like PostHog, dashboards, and custom pipelines. The next phase is about
bringing clarity and reliability to our data stack: building lightweight pipelines, improving how key metrics are calculated, and ensuring teams across the company can make decisions based on trusted data.
Your Challenge and Opportunity in This Role
In this role, you will
own data engineering end-to-end, working closely with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Sales. Your focus will be pragmatic execution: diagnosing problems quickly, improving existing systems, and building a scalable data foundation without unnecessary complexity.
This is a
hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building in early environments, delivering impact quickly, and shaping the future of data at JUPUS.
Tasks
Build reliable data foundations:
You design and implement lightweight, scalable data pipelines that ensure key business and product metrics are accurate, accessible, and trusted across the company.
Own the data stack:
You take ownership of our analytics and event infrastructure, improving our current PostHog setup and ensuring it supports product analytics, customer insights, and operational reporting.
Deliver fast, pragmatic solutions:
You quickly diagnose issues in existing pipelines and dashboards and implement practical improvements that deliver value immediately, rather than building overly complex systems.
Collaborate across the business:
You work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Engineering to understand how data is used across the company and ensure the right metrics and dashboards exist to support decision-making.
Develop our Customer Health Score infrastructure:
You help evolve and stabilize one of our most important metrics by building reliable pipelines and improving how data is collected, processed, and analyzed.
Enable product and customer insights:
You ensure that teams have clear visibility into product usage, customer behaviour, and business performance through well-structured data models and dashboards.
Shape the future data architecture:
You improve our current tooling while also preparing the groundwork for future data infrastructure, such as data warehouses or additional analytics tools where needed.
Lead and grow the data function:
You mentor and support our data analyst and help define how the data team evolves as the company continues to scale.
