We are looking for a dependable and motivated
Insect Production Operator to support our insect rearing operations in 84564 Oberbergkirchen, Germany. This role is
purely hands-on and focuses on routine production tasks such as pupae exchange, harvesting, cleaning, product packaging, and preparation of deliveries. The Production Operator works closely with the production and R&D team to maintain high-quality standards, meet production quotas, ensure workplace cleanliness, and contribute to the efficiency of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing daily production tasks related to insect production, including harvesting and sieving of larvae, exchange of egg traps and pupae, and more.
- Perform washing and cleaning of trays, tools, and production areas according to hygiene standards.
- Support with delivery preparation and loading/unloading.
- Ensure proper waste disposal.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols.
- Work in close collaboration with team members and follow supervisor instructions.
- Complete basic production checklists and cleaning records.
