Channel Manager (m/f/d) - Website & Digital Experience, Munich based
Munich, Germany
Are you a digital strategist who thrives at turning websites into high-performing business channels? We're looking for a Channel Manager (m/f/d) - Website & Digital Experience to own and evolve egym.com as EGYM Technology's most critical owned channels. You'll define strategy, drive conversion performance, and coordinate cross-functional teams - from Product Marketing and Demand Gen to Engineering - while partnering with your EGYM Wellpass counterpart on shared digital experiences. You'll own measurable business impact across lead generation, brand storytelling, and user experience. Join us in Munich and shape the digital future of EGYM Technology.
Your daily workout
Channel Ownership & Strategy: You own the website as a channel across all three EGYM properties (EGYM Group, EGYM Technology and EGYM Wellpass) - strategy, content calendar, editorial governance, and performance. Define and manage the site roadmap in alignment with GTM priorities, product launches, and brand objectives.
Lifecycle Management: You manage the page lifecycle and run regular content audits to keep the site lean and high-performing. You oversee the strategic migration from Acquia Drupal to Sanity
Collaboration: You serve as the primary website counterpart for Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Brand, Sales Enablement, and regional marketing teams. You prioritize and brief web development requests, and manage external web agencies and partners
Optimization: You own website conversion rate as a primary KPI and drive month-over-month improvement through testing and optimization. You define and track website KPIs: traffic, engagement, lead generation, cross-site routing effectiveness, and conversion funnels
SEO Strategy & Growth: You create and own the SEO strategy in partnership with Performance Marketing, including keyword targeting, on-page optimization, structured data, and content gap analysis
Reporting: You report on website performance monthly/quarterly to marketing leadership with actionable optimization recommendations based on GA4 and conversion data
Synergies: You partner closely with your EGYM Wellpass counterpart on shared web components and cross-site initiatives to ensure consistency across the digital ecosystem
Your fitness level
Website Management: You bring 3–5+ years in website management, digital marketing, or digital channel management, ideally in a B2B SaaS or tech environment
CMS & Content Platform: You have hands-on experience managing content in a headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, or similar is a strong plus) and can independently manage the full content lifecycle
Analytics: You have a solid understanding of SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and web analytics (GA4, conversion tracking) to inform optimization priorities
Conversion Rate: You have demonstrated experience identifying funnel drop-off points and recommending optimizations through landing page design, form reduction, and CTA testing
Project Management. You possess strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines across cross-functional teams
Communication & Collaboration. You are fluent in English for our international scope, exceptionally strong in stakeholder management, and comfortable working across marketing, product, sales, and engineering teams. German is a plus
Your training goal for the first 6 months
Tool Mastery & Operations. You own Sanity CMS, GA4, and reporting workflows. You become the go-to person for web content operations across all properties
Governance & Processes. You establish clear processes for content requests, prioritization, and publishing. You complete a full page audit across all properties and recommend optimizations and sunsets
Sanity Migration & Launch. You successfully execute and launch the strategic migration from Acquia Drupal to Sanity, ensuring smooth adoption across teams
Strategic Recognition. You position the website as a recognized strategic channel across marketing, sales, and leadership through monthly performance reporting and cross-functional partnership
