About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager at Customer Alliance, you will be at the forefront of navigating the evolution of our product. This is a key role at the company.

Your mission will be to revolutionize the product by staying up to date with market trends and meeting our users' needs and continue leveling up how Product management operates together with Engineering.

You will work closely with a self-organized engineering team (hybrid & remote). As a result, you have to thrive in a remote-first environment.

This position requires a strong interest in gaining insight into market trends, user problems, and the agility to adapt strategies that enhance product value and user satisfaction.

What we're looking for:

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment

  • Define and drive a product vision aligned with business strategy and technical capabilities.
  • Analyze market trends, identify pain points, innovation opportunities (e.g., AI/ML, data ingestion), and validate product ideas.
  • Set high-level priorities to balance engineering efforts, user needs, and business goals.

Feasibility and Collaboration

  • Validate technical feasibility with engineering leaders, ensuring realistic timelines (when possible) and resource allocation.
  • Act as a communication hub, bridging engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Own, steer and communicate the roadmap, making sure it is matching reality and supports product strategy.
  • Support maintainability and scalability while advocating for innovation and technical debt reduction.

Execution

  • Lead cross-functional alignment for new feature and product launches, working closely with the self-organized engineers.
  • Balance feature development with technical debt and infrastructure improvements.

Market and Customer Focus

  • Conduct market- and user research to align features with real-world problems.
  • Define and track product success metrics for user engagement and business impact.

We expect:

  • Experience: 5y+ experience as a Product Manager within a B2B SaaS, demonstrating successful management of mature products
  • Leadership: Leadership qualities with a proven track record of mentoring and managing product managers
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to handle short-term customer demand and long-term product vision
  • Language Skills: Excellent English, with German language proficiency at C1 level or higher strongly preferred.
