THE TEAM AND ROLE
As a Founder’s Associate in the CEO Office, you will be part of Avelios’ Strategy & Operations team, working directly with our founders and leadership team on the company’s most important strategic and operational priorities.
The team’s mission is to help Avelios scale efficiently by shaping company-wide strategy, solving critical operational challenges, and driving high-impact special projects. In this role, you will take ownership of strategic workstreams, support data-driven decision making, and help translate ambitious goals into tangible outcomes across the organization.
You will operate in a highly dynamic environment with significant exposure to senior leadership and all business functions. Similar to a consulting setup, you will work closely with specific departments while simultaneously contributing to cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of Avelios.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Own strategic initiatives and work packages from goal setting and analysis through implementation and measurable outcomes
Support strategic decision making through independent, fact-based analyses and clear, actionable recommendations for founders and leadership
Proactively identify and solve operational challenges to enable efficient scaling, strengthen collaboration, and improve organizational effectiveness
Serve as a liaison between founders, leadership, and the broader organization to ensure alignment, buy-in, and successful execution of strategic priorities
Take ownership of high-priority special projects and support the incubation of new processes, tools, and initiatives across different functions
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a related field
First professional experience in high-performance environments such as leading scale-ups, top-tier consulting firms, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or similar organizations
Highly analytical and structured, with the ability to break down complex problems into clear frameworks and derive evidence-based recommendations - can comfortably switch between different topics, functions, and projects in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint, using data and structured communication to drive decisions and align stakeholders
Strong sense of ownership with a hands-on mentality, collaborative working style and low-ego team player with excellent communication skills
Fluency in both German and English (C1 level or higher)
