ATMOS Space Cargo is looking for a Project Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the financial performance of our engineering and development projects, ensuring cost transparency, budget compliance, and reliable financial reporting.
Working closely with Engineering, Procurement, HR and Finance, you will provide meaningful financial insights, support project planning and forecasting, and contribute to informed business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- You will monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance across multiple engineering and development projects
- You will prepare regular project cost reports and forecasts for project teams, management, and external funding organizations
- You will support our Engineering leads in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and tracking project expenditures throughout the project lifecycle
- You will ensure accurate cost allocation and compliance with contractual and funding requirements for publicly funded programs
- You will analyze labor, material, procurement, and external service costs to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
- 2+ years of experience in project controlling, financial controlling, or project finance, ideally within aerospace, space, engineering, manufacturing, or another technology-driven industry
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cost controlling, and financial analysis
- Experience managing the financial aspects of publicly funded projects and working with complex reporting requirements is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical skills with a structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with controlling tools
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, German or French is a plus
