Job description


ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking a Head of Sales & Growth to own the full commercial funnel, from first customer contact through contract signature, mission execution, and repeat business. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, revenue, and mission delivery, ensuring commercial success is fully aligned with technical and operational realities.

Key Responsibilities
- You will define and execute the commercial strategy across B2B and B2G markets
- You will own and manage the end-to-end commercial funnel, from lead generation to repeat customers
- You will lead and integrate Business Development, Bid Management, and Payload Management
- You will own revenue forecasting, deal prioritisation, and commercial KPIs
- You will act as the escalation point for complex deals, customer conflicts, and commercial blockers
- You will represent ATMOS in strategic negotiations with institutional and commercial customers (e.g. space agencies, defence, pharma)
- You will build and maintain commercial processes and tools, including CRM pipeline, bid governance, and pricing models
- You will ensure smooth handovers between Business Development, Bid Teams, and Payload Managers
- You will align commercial commitments with mission availability, pricing constraints, and launch cadence in close coordination with C-Suite professionals

Profile required


- Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership in aerospace, space, defence, or other complex B2B/B2G industries
- Strong track record of owning and closing complex, high-value contracts
- Experience managing cross-functional commercial teams and processes
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English

Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with institutional customers (e.g. space agencies, defence ministries)
- Familiarity with space missions, launch services, or payload operations
- Experience building commercial organisations or scaling early-stage aerospace companies
